History

From Stani together with Concivili, with architecture and interiors by Studio Arthur Casasi and landscaping by André Paolielloi, Praça Henrique Monteiro is anchored in Pinheirosi, on a side street off Av. Brigadeiro Faria Limai. Ready since early 2024, it combines residential living with a mixed-use concept, including dining and hospitality.

Architecture and aesthetics

Seven metres. That is the frontage of the 2,826 m² plot on which Studio Arthur Casasi set the building — a plot with a narrow neck and a wide body, where the entrance had to become a passage rather than a façade. The project embraces the condition instead of disguising it: you enter through the gap and arrive at the centre of the block, where the ground was kept permeable, with a garden set in earth rather than over a car park slab. From there upward, the corridor zoning waives the height limit and the tower rises thirty-three storeys with just two apartments per floor — vertical and slender, the opposite of a block. The interiors are also by Studio Arthur Casasi; the landscaping, which accounts for both the ground-floor garden and the raised gardens of the units, is by André Paolielloi.

Pinheiros: the address

Rua Henrique Monteiro is a side street off Faria Limai — and in Pinheirosi that carries legal weight, not just geographic significance: the strip fronting the corridor is where the law lifts the height limit, and that is why tall towers still rise there in a neighbourhood that, outside that strip, is one of low-rise buildings and houses. The address sits on the residential side of that strip, with Largo da Batatai and Estação Faria Limai a short walk away, Shopping Eldoradoi and Iguatemii in opposite directions, and Estação Hebraica-Rebouçasi on Line 9 – Emerald covering the train. It is the block where the creative neighbourhood and the financial district share the same pavement: a few minutes’ walk takes in both the tables of Teodoro Sampaio and the towers of the avenue.
