History
From Lucio, with architecture and common-area decoration by João Armentano, area design in partnership with MCAA and landscaping by Gilberto Elkis, Bellini was built on a 5,154 m² plot 470 metres from Parque Ibirapuera. Its trademark is the unique façade, with a circular terrace that opens toward the park, like a prow reaching to embrace it.
- Concept: architecture oriented toward the park, with circular terraces and every bedroom opening onto a balcony.
- Trivia: every bedroom opens onto a balcony, with views of the greenery of Ibirapuera.
Architecture and aesthetics
The building’s gesture is curved, and the curve has consequences for the floor plan. The circular terrace that João Armentano turned toward the park does not stop at the façade: it redraws the floor’s perimeter, which is why almost all of the standard floor’s 632 m² open onto the same face — including the bedrooms, each with its own balcony. The layout follows the same logic of breathing room: a single tower on a 5,154 m² plot, twenty-four storeys, one resident per floor, with no adjoining construction competing for the horizon. The common-area decoration is by João Armentano himself, with area design in partnership with MCAA; the landscaping is by Gilberto Elkis.
Aesthetics and scarcity
- Aesthetics: contemporary, with a sculptural façade facing the park.

Ibirapuera: the address
Two names for the same address
The plot sits on the border between Ibirapuera and Vila Mariana, and both names are legitimate. The postcode registers Vila Mariana; the high-end market treats the address as Ibirapuera. This entry adopts the name in common use and keeps the other for those who search for it.
Here the address is measured in metres to the gate of Parque Ibirapuera. What the market calls Ibirapuera is neither a district nor a postcode — it is the ring of residential streets that touches the park, and Rua do Livramento sits within it, on a flat block with local traffic, an open-air market in the immediate vicinity and neighbourhood shops within walking distance. The gain is the park as a backyard: running, rowing, the museum and Sunday a walk away. The added bonus is the quick way out, via Avenida Vinte e Três de Maio and Avenida Brigadeiro Luís Antônio, which lead to Avenida Paulista and downtown in minutes, with Estação Paraíso closing off the metro connection. It is a short ring, almost entirely built up before the latest wave of development — and the land that still turns up here comes in small plots, which makes an isolated tower on five thousand square metres a case apart.
