Vila Alba
In Alto da Boa Vista, six houses behind a single gate. The plot measures 4,630 m² and the street sits in an exclusively residential zone — what exists here cannot be recreated on the block next door.

History
Vila Alba was born from a project approved by the City Hall in the name of RGM Empreendimentos Imobiliários, authored by the firm Octávio de Siqueira: the permit for the approval and execution of the new building dates from November 2003 and came back to the table in July 2009, when it was reconsidered. The municipal record describes exactly what the condominium is today — six blocks, one unit in each, two storeys — on a declared plot of 4,398.50 m², with 3,126.47 m² of approved built area. The current tax register measures a 4,630 m² lot and classifies the property as a condominium. The delivery year is not fixed here: the municipal paperwork dates the building permit, not the completion of the work, and no verifiable public source records the delivery.
- Concept: a house with a garden, deep garage and a gatehouse, without leaving the city. Six families sharing an address, and nothing beyond that within the wall.
- Trivia: the municipal aerial photogrammetric survey, which portrays the city in the early 2000s, still shows the plot with no construction at all — the houses came later. And there is a discrepancy the public documentation does not explain: the permit totals 3,126 m² of built area for the six blocks, while the houses circulating on the market are advertised at between 608 and 931 m² each.
Architecture and aesthetics
Six two-storey houses spread over a plot of almost half a hectare, with a contemporary design and a layout set back from the street line. Rua Job Lane runs through a stretch of strictly residential zoning: at the time of approval the plot was Z1-022, and current legislation keeps it in ZER-1, the most restrictive category of São Paulo zoning. It is the law, not the architecture, that guarantees the low skyline around it — no tower can rise next door. There is no public credit for interiors or landscaping, and for that reason neither is attributed here.

Alto da Boa Vista: the address
Alto da Boa Vista is the part of Santo Amaro that stayed residential when the rest of the district turned into an office corridor, and Rua Job Lane is one of its longest and most tree-lined streets — the postal register lists it under Jardim Petrópolis, the market advertises it as Alto da Boa Vista, and the two names live side by side on the same block. The immediate neighbourhood is made up of houses: the Escola Waldorf Rudolf Steiner and the Scandinavian Lutheran Church are on the same road, a few hundred metres ahead, and the rest of the stretch is house condominiums and standalone homes. Access to the city is solved from outside, without cutting through the neighbourhood — Avenida Santo Amaro and Avenida Washington Luís on one side, Marginal Pinheiros and the bridge to Morumbi on the other. Estação Granja Julieta and Estação Adolfo Pinheiro stations, Shopping Jardim Sul and Colégio Visconde de Porto Seguro make up the layout of those who live here and use the car for anything that is not on foot.
