History

From ACH Engenhariai, with design by Itamar Berezini and interiors by Patricia Anastassiadisi, the Arbre is born in Vila Nova Conceiçãoi with a classic vocation. The name, “tree” in French, announces the concept: strong roots, an imposing façade and the timeless sophistication that marks Anastassiadisi‘s work.

• Trivia: it rises on a corner plot, 300 metres from Parque Ibirapuerai, under the signature of one of the country’s most distinctive design firms.

Architecture and aesthetics

In a neighbourhood that has grown used to straight lines, the Arbre was designed in the opposite vocabulary: a façade made to have presence, in the classical register that sets it apart from almost all the neighbouring crop. It rises on a corner plot, which gives it two street frontages instead of one and light from two orientations, with a single apartment per floor — 372 m² and four suites on the standard floor — and a gourmet balcony integrated into the living room. The architecture is by Itamar Berezini in a classical register, rather than the steel, concrete and glass vocabulary that marks much of his high-end output. Interiors by Patricia Anastassiadisi, of timeless sophistication, and landscaping by Neusa Nakatai.

Vila Nova Conceição: the address

Inajaroba and Sampaio Góis are short streets in the core of Vila Nova Conceição — they don’t feed into any through-route, and so they don’t take on the traffic that crosses the neighbourhood. The address is less than three hundred metres from Parque Ibirapuerai, a walking distance before coffee, and a few steps from two early childhood schools: Maple Beari at 186 metres and Movimento Escolai at 259. It is the block layout that explains why Vila Nova remains a family neighbourhood even after becoming the most expensive square metre in the country. Estação Moemai, on Line 5 – Lilac, is eight hundred and forty metres away; the Afonso Braz commercial strip is two blocks away.
