History

Renata anchored on Rua Afonso Braz, in Vila Nova Conceiçãoi, about 400 metres from Parque Ibirapuerai, near Insper, Faria Limai and Vila Olímpiai. The great differentiator is the leisure infrastructure, broad and complete, crowned by a rooftop that works as a panoramic deck over the neighbourhood.

Architecture and aesthetics

The site layout explains the building. It is twenty-one storeys over a 1,808 m² plot with only 25 metres of street frontage: there is little free ground, and what does not fit on the ground floor goes up. Hence the rooftop — not an end-of-project extra, but the consequence of stacking, on a narrow plot, the programme of a clubhouse condominium: the roof gives back the backyard the street did not, with a pool, gym and solarium open to the neighbourhood’s horizon. Inside the units, the same logic of continuity: the living room does not end at the window frame, it extends onto the gourmet terrace and counts as part of the room. Vila Nova Conceição: the address

Few addresses in Vila Nova Conceiçãoi explain themselves as quickly as this one: Afonso Braz is the street of tables. The neighbourhood’s dining hub formed here and on Domingos Fernandes, and being at number 155 means having, on your own doorstep, the late-afternoon routine that in other neighbourhoods requires a car. This stretch is the first on the street, just over two hundred metres from Avenida República do Líbano — leaving the area takes one block, without the address leaving the low-rise, tree-lined perimeter that defines the neighbourhood. On the opposite side, Parque Ibirapuerai is about four hundred metres on foot; Faria Limai and Vila Olímpiai are minutes away by car. The address negotiates both sides well: the bustle concentrates on the street’s ground floor, and the surrounding blocks remain what they have always been.
