Who they are
Raised in São Paulo’s Bom Retiro, amid her parents’ garment business, Patricia Anastassiadis once considered fashion before graduating in architecture from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. In the same year, 1993, she opened Anastassiadis Arquitetos, which began on her home veranda. Her first project, the Filomena restaurant (1994), launched chef Alex Atala and opened doors. Since then, she has become the Brazilian name most sought after by ultra-luxury hospitality, running a practice of more than sixty professionals and seven hundred projects, in Consolação. She works bespoke, always starting from the history and essence of each place.
Aesthetic
- Language: contemporary, authentic and delicate, highlighting the richness of Brazilian materials, raw materials and design, with its own narrative in each project.
- Materials and brands: plenty of craftsmanship and reinterpretation of references (Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Oriental touches); she designs part of her own furniture, including collections for Artefacto.
- Awards and publications: internationally recognised; a recurring client for brands such as Oetker Collection, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Hilton, Grand Hyatt, Kempinski and Marriott.

- Palácio Tangará, São Paulo (common and social areas of the country’s first six-star hotel, within the Burle Marx landscaped park).
- Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, in Cap d’Antibes, and Jumby Bay Island, in Antigua (both by Oetker Collection).
- Fairmont Copacabana and Hilton Barra, in Rio de Janeiro.
