Contemporary architecture, noble materials and the complete view of the park define the project. Like a bow set on the edge of the greenery, each floor sails over the park with nothing in its way.

Architecture and aesthetics

Contemporary and understated, the architecture by LE Arquitetosi resolves the building through its layout, not through façade ornament: the tower occupies a plot of almost 2,000 m² with its main face turned entirely towards the park, and the choice of one flat per floor means the view need not be shared with a neighbour on the same landing. The materials are noble and the repertoire restrained — on an address where the scenery is already set outside, the façade has little to prove.

Paraíso: the address

Paraíso is the hinge between Avenida Paulistai and Parque Ibirapuerai, and Rua Curitibai is the stretch where that hinge opens onto the green side: from here it is just over four hundred metres to the park, a distance that makes it a daily routine rather than a weekend outing. The block is residential and tree-lined, with a weekly street market on the road itself, and a few minutes by car away are Avenida Brigadeiro Luís Antônioi and Avenida Vinte e Três de Maioi — few central neighbourhoods deliver a park and an expressway on the same address, with two metro lines crossing at Estação Paraísoi. A useful note for anyone who does not recognise the neighbourhood from the postcode: the Post Office classifies a good part of these blocks as Vila Marianai, and Rua Curitiba itself appears in the registers under both names. The house rule is simple — the postcode governs the address, market usage governs the neighbourhood, and here the market has always said Paraíso.
