Who they are
Luiz Carlos Orsini runs the Yapó | Orsini Paisagismo practice, with offices in São Paulo and Belo Horizonte. Born in Minas Gerais, he trained in landscaping in Madrid (1984) and has been active since 1979, with hundreds of projects across Brazil and an international expansion. He specialises in transplanting mature plants (having already planted more than 10,000 trees and palms with a loss rate below 3%) and signs one of the greatest achievements in Brazilian landscaping: the 260,000 m² of the Inhotim Institute. This entry brings together the spellings “Luiz Carlos Orsini”, “Yapó Orsini” and “Orsini Paisagismo”.
