Who they are
Consuelo Jorge leads the firm that bears her name, in São Paulo, at the head of a multidisciplinary team of architects, cost estimators and managers. She has more than three decades of career and more than 500 completed projects in Brazil’s main capitals, as well as New York and Washington, spread across residential, corporate and hospitality architecture and interiors, development, furniture design and consulting.
The firm is a pioneer in hospitality in Brazil: in partnership with the Accor chain, it led the projects for Brazil’s first hotels under the ibis (1997), Pullman (2010) and Adagio (2012) brands, and has signed work for Radisson, Clarion, Comfort Suites and Ibis Styles. Consuelo is also known for a practice of conscious architecture, using appropriate technology, reusing natural resources and preserving the environment.
