Modernist house by Jon Maitrejean in Pacaembu, set over three levels

Modernist house by Jon Maitrejean in Pacaembu, taking advantage of the steep slope of the plot to arrange the rooms over three integrated levels. The ground floor holds the social and service areas. The upper level gathers the bedrooms: four, two of them suites, set apart for privacy and quiet from the rest of the house. The lower floor concentrates the leisure area, with a pool, a courtyard and a function room. A staircase links the three levels, making use of every metre of the plot's fall. Four parking spaces complete the layout. The house sits in one of the most traditional, heritage-listed residential neighbourhoods in São Paulo's central-west area, with tree-lined streets, period houses, low density and controlled building heights, with the historic Pacaembu stadium as a landmark of the surroundings and few new upmarket developments in a low-density residential core preserved for decades.
