Blue View Tower

History

Blue View Tower is a launch by FGi (FG Empreendimentos), the developer that dominates the skyline of Balneário Camboriúi, built in Barra Sul, facing the sea. The product’s approach is exclusivity: one apartment per floor, with spacious floor plans of five to six suites and private area starting at 274 m².

• Concept: vertical privacy — each resident occupies an entire floor, with standard apartments, garden units and a duplex at the top.
• Trivia: the launch material advertises leisure facilities spread across three floors, one of them with a suspended garden on the 21st floor, and master suites with a soaking tub.

Architecture and aesthetics

The tower adopts a contemporary language, with large openings to the sea and the slender silhouette that characterises the skyscrapers on the seafront. Like every tall building on Avenida Atlântica, it responds to the regulatory logic that shaped the city: the front setback grows with height — the shading cone calculated by angle from the road axis —, additional buildable potential is bought through payment of a development premium, and the cap on units per plot share favours precisely the one-apartment-per-floor product.

Balneário Camboriú: the address

Balneário Camboriúi is not a neighbourhood: it is the Santa Catarina city that turned high-rise construction into an economic project and ended up with the most recognisable silhouette on the Brazilian coast — a continuous wall of towers facing a crescent-shaped beach. Barra Sul, where the Rio Camboriú meets the sea, is the newest and most expensive vector of that race: it concentrates the marinas, the nautical access and the new generation of signature towers. It is there, facing the ocean, that Blue View rises. Density has a price — the wall of towers shades the strip of sand in the late afternoon, and what can be built along the front is a permanent political issue in the city.
