Who they are
Planik has been developing in São Paulo since 1982. That is more than four decades, around 4,000 apartments delivered and close to 300,000 m² built, with a figure the house repeats as its banner: 100% of projects delivered on schedule. The operation is split into lines — Nik, for compact units and studios on metro corridors, and the high-end signed under the full name.
The house’s discourse is openly opposed to the catalogue product: “life is too unique to live the generic.” In practice, this means signature design for each address, guest architects from outside the firm, and programmes that break from market standards — double-height ceilings in the living room, single-size unit types, floor plans designed for the plot rather than replicated onto it.
Product vision
- Positioning: two clear fronts — compact units and studios on the corridors (Nik line) and high-end residential in established neighbourhoods of the southern zone.
- Differentiators: deadline as a public commitment; signature architecture commissioned project by project, rather than an in-house team repeating a formula; and a consistent bet on generous ceiling height as a product signature.
