Who they are
Pasqualotto & GT is the Balneário Camboriú building and development company responsible for Yachthouse by Pininfarina, whose two towers of 294.1 and 294 metres were confirmed by the CTBUH, in May 2024, as the tallest buildings in the country. The name brings together the house’s two managing partners: Alcino Pasqualotto Neto and Geninho Thomé — the partnership appears formalised with the Federal Revenue Service, under Yachthouse Incorporadora Ltda., opened in January 2013 and based at the project’s own address.
The house made its partnership with the Italian label Pininfarina its signature in the city: besides the Yachthouse, it is building on the same waterfront the Vitra by Pininfarina and the La Città by Pininfarina.
Product vision
- Positioning: ultra-high-end residential towers of record scale on the Santa Catarina waterfront, with international designer branding.
- Differentiators: tall-building engineering — an outrigger damping system applied for the first time in a Brazilian residential building, the country’s largest foundation concrete pour, 6 m/s lifts and helipads certified by ANAC.
- Recognition: the Yachthouse received the 2020 American Architecture Awards, from The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, the only Brazilian entry on that edition’s list.
