Dani Tassi Kasinsky is an architect working in São Paulo, dedicated to residential and corporate projects. In the archive, her signature appears on a full 468 m² refurbishment at Irma Aguiar de Souza, in Higienópolis — a complete-scope project, with bespoke carpentry, new lighting design, new plumbing and electrics, new window frames and the restoration of the original wood flooring.
It is this last point that defines her portfolio: in a city where refurbishing an old apartment usually means erasing what was there, this project preserved and restored the original wood flooring, treating the period floor plan as heritage to be handed back, rather than a base to be replaced.
