Arquiplan

Arquiplan is a family-controlled São Paulo developer and builder, active since the mid-twentieth century, that moves between compact housing and high-end residential in São Paulo.

Who it is

A house founded in 1950 by Luiz Shehtman and, since 2009, run by engineers Marcelo and Alan Ginzberg, his descendants. Over its trajectory, the company has accumulated more than a million square metres built across residential and commercial developments, headquartered in Barra Funda, São Paulo. Its portfolio combines entry-level products and high-end towers in the city’s affluent neighbourhoods.

Language and signature

A recurring trait of the catalogue is naming the buildings after Mediterranean and European place names — like Marbella and Andorra — which give identity and narrative to each address.
